General Instructions
A code of conduct presented to students at the time of admission.
These general instructions are presented as a student pledge at the time of admission.
I shall behave politely with my fellow students and shall not quarrel with anyone.
I shall speak politely, gently and respectfully with everyone I meet.
I shall abstain from smoking, tobacco and alcohol.
I shall dress simply and appropriately.
I shall respect my parents, elders and teachers.
I shall be helpful to others and take care to develop my character, memory and health.
I shall remain obedient in institutional matters and respect the guiding values of His Holiness Shri Mallikarjun Mahaswamiji.
I shall not write on or damage the desks, walls or property of the college.
I shall uphold the sanctity of examinations and shall not engage in copying or other malpractice.
I shall attend classes punctually, pay attention to lectures and avoid causing disturbances.
I shall not participate in strikes or encourage groupism among college students.
I accept the selection of the Ideal Student and Class Representatives on a moral-cum-merit basis.
I shall respect the institution’s decision regarding Annual Day and other college celebrations.
I understand the law against ragging and the penalties applicable if I am found guilty.
I shall honour these commitments sincerely and accept appropriate disciplinary action if I violate them.
